Our Partners

The Julie Foudy Sports Leadership Academy combines a five-night, six-day residential Summer Sports Camp and a Leadership Academy for girls ages 12-18.

JFSLA focuses on two overlapping components — Sports and Leadership — and how both complement each other. The aim of the JFSLA is to expose students to Julie’s great passion: the concept of not just being a leader on the field but a LEADER IN LIFE. She believes that participating in sports helps young women discover their inner strength, their voice and ultimately their ability to positively impact society.

At Strive’s premier summer camp, Sports Challenge, they apply the rigor of sports training to the practice of leadership. Each year they bring together student-athletes from high schools around the country and help them become character leaders on and off the field.

For seven days, athletes live together and play competitive-level soccer or basketball. Immersed in a growth-mindset culture, they debate, compete, develop new skills, celebrate achievements, share meals and personal experiences, embrace and question new concepts — and, of course, sweat!

GenHERation helps connect young women with top companies, helping them discover career paths, network, and develop leadership capabilities. GenHERation Discovery Days are immersive summer day trips that provide high school and college women with the opportunity to visit the most innovative companies in America. LLB provides scholarships for high school girls to attend the Philadelphia Discovery Days. Participants visit with female executives from top companies headquartered in Philadelphia, including Urban Outfitters, Philadelphia 76ers, Hartford Funds, and DLL.
